An exciting project position has become available in the Open University?s Media Production Team. We are looking for a skilled developer to join our existing team, working on a project to develop an automated system to enable content to be converted for mobile devices and eBook readers.
The Open University requires a technical developer working at the Walton Hall site, to support the development and maintenance of its in-house digital publishing systems. A strong background in XML, XSLT, XPath and related technologies for transforming XML documents into HTML and other formats is essential, supported by a good knowledge of CSS and JavaScript. Familiarity with the ePub specifications and associated standards is highly beneficial. The ability to program applications in
C++ and/or Java would be advantageous.
