Media Assistants support the production of The Open University's learning materials across a range of media, predominantly online and print. Working with project managers, editors, designers and software developers, the job involves clerical tasks such as tagging text, populating and checking websites, embedding audio-visual assets, checking transcripts, and logging assets in spreadsheets.
We are looking for people with proven IT skills (including MS Office applications), experience of working in a busy team or office environment and, most importantly, the flexibility, energy and enthusiasm to master a range of skills.
You will be an excellent team player and be adaptable and comfortable when working to tight deadlines in a production environment. Previous experience of media work is desirable, but not essential.

Interviews are expected to be held week commencing 5 August 2013.
